It was thrilling to work with Nina so closely and see her process. First, she actually created the magazine on paper, by cutting out little squares with the concept on it. So crazy. It was like a physical magazine. Then from there we worked on the concept in digital and changed certain things and expanded the ideas she had made on paper.

It was so funny to watch her do PS3 Photoshop because she knew things that I did not know about, shortcuts, and ways of getting the same effect I would have done it differently and used different tools. Very funny. We both did not like how now in PS3 it opens the photos in tabs instead of individual windows. It was very tedious to click the tabs and I could not work as fast and arrange the photos on the screen. They were stuck together. I wish I knew how to get that view back, Adobe. None the less, at the end it was so funny: I'd do a task, then Nina would take over and complete the task because I didn't have the brain power. Then she would not know how to do an effect and I would take over the computer again and do the effect. At the end end, it was like musical chairs.

The other thing that happened is that suddenly when we were testing it, Vodafone shut off her service -- no 3G service suddenly for anyone in the room with Vodafone. I have noticed that another time with Telstra when they shut off my friend's phone system. My other friend Bill, who cut my hair, his Bigpond internet service got stopped cuz he didnt pay the bill, and now he has to not only pay the 35 dollars that he slipped, but a 200$ reconnection fee! For me to recharge my OPTUS prepaid card online with a credit card, it took me 3 weeks to finally get the OPTUS page to load. I had to call their customer service so many times, clear the cache, kill my history, oh it was a run around like you never saw. Why would I put all that effort to pay with a credit card? Because then I get 1400 free text messages as a bonus. Was it worth it? Only to be able to email the Mobile Magazines around to everyone!

Today was a glasses casting for an Australian Brand. I wore my glasses and really loved their styles. I had to go to a totally new area that reminded me of old street area in London crossed with Tribecca in New York. Very desolate and cool.

Really amazing exhibition on Tibet Buddhism in the Bondi Pavilion, Bondi Beach. The monks are giving lectures, speeches, and even tantric meditations. The most interesting was the meditation of course and the sand mandala. At the end of all that work, they open the doors and let the wind carry it away.

Today was not a bathing suit day in Bondi. I was up early talking to USA and London fixing bugs. Then off to see a venue because I'm MC (you will hear about it soon) for a lingerie fashion show in March. Then to a casting which was great and over to meet Nina Maya to complete her new mobile magazine. Check it out! It rocks!

Each and every market a model enters is different. The culture dictates what people like to wear as much as the weather. In Sydney, there is no real winter season, so the money making seasons are in the summer months. The clearly shoot outdoors a lot as they have excellent weather year 'round, with studio shootings too of course. I'm not sure that they have a lot of "high fashion" as I have not seen anyone walking around like they do in New York. Maybe if you work in an office. I heard that Melbourne is more european in style, having trams and living inland more where it is cooler. I hope I get to go to Melbourne and see what it is like. Sydney is beautiful, I can't imagine other equally as beautiful places.

Markets are not only a place where you can find good finds but also a way for small brands to reach customers. I spotted some good tech styles and some good quality hand made underwear. It reminded me of the zoo market in many ways where small brands have stalls and even small showrooms.

Spunky Bruiser is a brand that jumped off the hangers as I walked through the Bondi Markets. I fell in love with the hand painted pacman purses. The collection is designed by a boyfriend and girlfriend team. They also had some hand embroidered jackets with asian influence that would sell all over the world. I fell in love with this purse by Spunky Bruiser. I would have loved to buy it and wear it to my tech conferences. It would make Steve Gilmore laugh and raise many comments from the likes of Marc Canter. I'm sure Paolo V. and his wife would chuckle. It's funny how fashion can make you feel. There are items and colors that jump out at us reflecting our mood for the day. Every item we buy communicates pictorially our personalities. Fashion is the biggest tool to express yourself. I'd love this bag because it would help me communicate or give the image of tech and fashion.

My friends celebrated the birthday of their friend by going to a secret beach and having a barbique. The view was of the harbor and the water calm. As the sun set we sang happy birthday to the birthday girl. How beautiful on your birthday to be surrounded by the beach, food, and friends.

I promised myself by coming here to Oz I would get physically stronger. I found a fun way to rock out and dance in the pool at Iceberg's Pool, the hottest place in Bondi to hang out and get fit. Only problem was it attracted a lot of male spectators. I'm not sure if they were watching me cuz I was dancing like a lunatic or if the crowd was there for my bikini. Hope it was the bikini!
