Each and every market a model enters is different. The culture dictates what people like to wear as much as the weather. In Sydney, there is no real winter season, so the money making seasons are in the summer months. The clearly shoot outdoors a lot as they have excellent weather year 'round, with studio shootings too of course. I'm not sure that they have a lot of "high fashion" as I have not seen anyone walking around like they do in New York. Maybe if you work in an office. I heard that Melbourne is more european in style, having trams and living inland more where it is cooler. I hope I get to go to Melbourne and see what it is like. Sydney is beautiful, I can't imagine other equally as beautiful places.

Markets are not only a place where you can find good finds but also a way for small brands to reach customers. I spotted some good tech styles and some good quality hand made underwear. It reminded me of the zoo market in many ways where small brands have stalls and even small showrooms.

Spunky Bruiser is a brand that jumped off the hangers as I walked through the Bondi Markets. I fell in love with the hand painted pacman purses. The collection is designed by a boyfriend and girlfriend team. They also had some hand embroidered jackets with asian influence that would sell all over the world. Every girl who dreams of tech should have a purse designed by Spunky Bruiser.

My friends celebrated the birthday of their friend by going to a secret beach and having a barbique. The view was of the harbor and the water calm. As the sun set we sang happy birthday to the birthday girl. How beautiful on your birthday to be surrounded by the beach, food, and friends.

What is going on?! Android is not only taking over the fashion side but also car design. Android google is coming soon on phones. Would be a great campaign for google to use this kind of marketing.

I promised myself by coming here to Oz I would get physically stronger. I found a fun way to rock out and dance in the pool at Iceberg's Pool, the hottest place in Bondi to hang out and get fit. Only problem was it attracted a lot of male spectators. I'm not sure if they were watching me cuz I was dancing like a lunatic or if the crowd was there for my bikini. Hope it was the bikini!

I went on a secret trip to Manly. Walked all over and along the most beautiful rocks till there were no more people. So magic.

I was going to nix NAXMIX from my twitter when instead I clicked on a link and went to a review of a shoe exhibition.

NAXMIX: "a unique collection of more than 2700 pairs of shoes from more than 155 countries and regions. Today was a busy day. Viviene's put me up on their site and even put me in their Celebrity section with Gemma Ward inside too.

Today I went 'round to meet Jeremyville and his elvin assistant, Liz. I consulted with them on all the social integrations that typepad is capable of and helped Jeremy save time by having the right technology. One blog >>>> many updates. That's the 360Fashion Way! I taught Liz how to commando the blog and we came up with a web strategy for Jeremyville. We even exported their blogger blog and re-imported it into typepad. Get them off blogger and into something more flexible and expanding. Next project will be a mobile jeremyville magazine!

New years in sydney was everything i imagined it to be the way to enter 2010! The people in bondi were very colorful. The bottle shop guy looked rad in his sunny glasses! The question was only- where's the stormhoek? My favorite fashion wine!

I loved the bottle shop guys glasses so much that i had to try them on! Sydney was a buzz with people rushing to their parties. Girls were casual elegant even in flip flops to high heels. We are off to a private party with a direct view of the sydney bridge! It's getting dark and we are picking up vodka for the evening.

Sydney new year was so beautiful. It was like out of a movie! Beautiful people, crazy free, intelligent hot girls who work at the UN! Who would have thought that girls who look like fashion models with names like stella and lena work at the UN and work all over the 3rd worlds.

When you dream up the idea to go to a wild party with beautiful people, and it turns wild you just sit under the moon and watch the madness happen around you everywhere while enjoying the music. The party got really wild when girls and guys stripped off and swam in the pool. Also there was a lot of pushing people in full dress into the pool. 3 floors mansion with a tree garden that looked right out of avatar! We went all night and i fell asleep at about 2 and kept waking up to a splash to see the moon over my head and my friend watching over me. I'd fall back asleep and then wake up again under that amazing man on the moon.

I was introduced to some people very debonair! We all had a laugh when the director said, hey you're anina. What's your last name? I said, Net. He said, yeah that's right! We've been facebook friends for a year and i've seen all the things you do and looks interesting.







Then his friend said yes we are also connected on facebook. How amazing is that. Funny when technology touches you offline.

Wow got to listen to al green in concert. Awesome. Could not find my crew but enjoyed sitting on the steps of the art museum listening. Was at the front too and the quantas screen was big!

A new friend Daz invited me to a trip to china town in sydney. I could not say no, because i needed to get refill of my chinese medicine. It was exactly like china town but closer to china side. Market like silk market. Big. Pharmacies. Lots of soap and such gift products and beauty products, vitamines, and t shirts.

Man the A was kicking up a storm as these two break dancers strutted their stuff. I've the got a wiked video to show.

This is my new hair cut. I beg my friend Bill from Bondi Tv to cut it. He's a amazing guru of hair. I beg him to cut me the fringe that my x agency would never let me cut! I love my hair! Exactly how i imagined it! Landed the top agency here who want to rep me and just have to check my visa papers are all in order to do so and i've got already a new top illustrator to join 360Fashion! Nina Maya mobile mag is impressing everyone!

Meeting up with Nina Maya I was followed by a very big bird, in Bondi saw a Japanese guy in this crazy car, and the famous Gusto next to a great shop with funny books.

The catalog works great and installs easy on the blackberry. There are so many applications on the blackberry your app can be lost. Easy spotting the mag with the 360fashion logo!

One of the best things about modelling are the close friendships you make and keep for life. Olivia and I modelled in Tokyo and passed many adventures together. We laughed as we remembered the driver who taught me Japanese, and me buying 500 euro in stickers at Omotosando, and laughing about jobs and castings. The most impressive part was seeing Olivia has become so professional in store design. She's worked for all the major brands in Australian fashion. She is a true life success story of model to profession in the fashion industry. I asked her if I could interview her for my book about modelling I'm writing. Love you Olivia! You inspire me!

One of the best parts of 360Fashion is that there are members all over the world. Last week I went up to Avalon with Eddy Ming to visit Sonny Vandevelde, photographer www.sonnyphotos.typepad.com , and he gave us a barbecue and took us to his favorite beach where he surfs for a swim. I was totally afraid of the water and he convinced me to just dive in (which I've never been able to do!). After jumping in, the water was awesome and it was so much fun to do a body surf! Thanks Sunster.







Sonny will be having a 15 year, Australian Fashion Week Photo Exhibition at the L'Oreal Melbourne Fashion Week in March. I cant wait to see it! Now he's off to Milan to shoot the Men's collections so have a look on his blog and leave him a comment for sure cuz fashion weeks are grueling!

Yesterday I had the pleasure to meet up with Nina Maya and we created her AW Collection in as a mobile magazine. It turned out so very well.  I really liked how we created details of the garments, showed the campaign photos, and ended with some backstage. Really like a magazine.
